Marie's Donuts on Freeport Boulevard is the best donut shop in Sacramento, hands down. They always have been! As long as we can remember we have been happily eating donuts from Marie's. Whether it be an early Sunday morning waiting in line with the rest of Sacramento, or a 3:00 AM visit when the donuts are served straight out the oil; Marie's is always fresh, always delicious.
Since we started Timeless Thrills® in 2011 it has always been a goal to collaborate with Marie's Donuts. After almost seven years in business that goal is set to come true. On June 1st, 2018 the world will celebrate National Donut Day. In Sacramento we will celebrate the beginning to an ongoing partnership between Timeless Thrills® and Marie's Donuts. Something we couldn't be more proud to announce.
On Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at 12:00 PM we will release two t-shirts in our online shop as well as our flagship store.
We kept the collaboration simple and stuck to the basics. What is more iconic than the original logo which is hand painted on the front of their building? The image is simple and straight to the point, a lot like their donuts and the everyday grind they bring to Freeport blvd.
In a city where so much is changing and everyone is worried about what is new and popular, Marie's stays the same damn donut shop, mom-n-poppin' it with Sandy and Sophi in the mornings and the dude crew into the late hours of the night. What is more refreshing than that?
While National Donut Day is Friday, June 1st we want to give you a chance to actually wear the shirt on the celebrated day. Marie's will also be selling their own inventory of t-shirts. Just a heads up; They will have an exclusive color only available at the donut shop.
As always, the t-shirts are extremely limited so be sure to grab yours upon release. However, we are beginning an ongoing partnership with Marie's where more merchandise and different items will become available in the future.
This is definitely one of the most exciting things we have done here at Timeless Thrills®. It took a lot of time, building and forming relationships with good, honest people here in Sacramento. That is what it is all about. Local businesses working together for the better good. It doesn't get more "mom-n'-pop" than this.
