In the last few months we have been working with Yomahra Aquino, the mastermind behind Small Batch Supply Co. Through Small Batch Supply's private label, we have created custom, leather pocket notebooks, belts, ruck straps, and keychains. On top of that we have plans to produce many more California made leather goods with Small Batch and Yomahra.
The name Small Batch Supply Co. was inspired by the words "Small Batch" that are printed on so many whisky bottles. Like we mentioned above, Yomahra Aquino is the owner of Small Batch Supply Co. and also the maker of all the goods you find there. Her goal is to make carefully handcrafted leather goods in small batches. By making things in small batches she is able to make sure every piece gets the attention it deserves and is made to the highest level of quality.
Yomahra is in love with process; The multiple steps that it takes to create a beautiful finished product. Thats why she does everything herself. Every piece is hand dyed, cut, assembled, every copper rivet is hand set and most importantly every piece is hand stitched.
She thoughtfully designed each item so that you get a piece that will enhance and compliment your lifestyle and hopefully inspire you.
The materials she uses are very important to her. All of the leather, thread, and hardware is made in the United States. She believes that products using materials sourced from China, or elsewhere, cannot truly be considered a U.S.A. made product. If she can’t find a piece that meets her expectations, she makes it herself.
All of these things mean that when you buy a Small Batch product you’re getting something that’s made by the owner, you’re keeping a dying art alive, and you’re supporting a truly American business.
