On Saturday, June 3rd from 5-8pm we will host Paulo Buencamino's debut book release for 'Road Noise.'
While we have stocked Paulo's zines for years now we are honored to host his first book release. 'Road Noise' is an 8x10" book consisting of 47 images and made of both color and black & white photography. Each copy will retail at $35 and only 50 copies were made, all hand numbered by Paulo.
Words from Paulo about 'Road Noise':
"So many photographers that I admire have created their work while traveling, making photographs with what the road presents them with, loose concepts connecting them. For me, this unifying idea was my job.
The photos in this book are a collection of moments, big and small, from about a year of installing art all over America. The images in Road Noise are intended to make you feel the way I've felt driving and flying across the country. I made this work stopping whenever I saw something beautiful, came across evidence of an uncommon interaction, or ended up in close proximity to a friend. This really is my best work yet, and I'm so excited to share it."
The book was designed by Paulo and printed by Edition One Books.
