The Bay Area Tattoo Convention - October 2019 is set to impress with artists from all over. Mark your calendars and book your hotel for the weekend of October 18 - 20th.

ON THE DOWNLOW
One of the highlights at October's convention is the Hardy-Youth-the-Mash-Up Group Art Show. The one and only Andreas Coenen has curated a selection of art from over 50 artists giving their interpretation of Ed Hardy's famous Panther / Rose Mash-Up. Not only will it feature art but also photos of actual collector's wearing Ed's panther/rose tattoos. Rumor has it this art will be made into a book. We can't wait! Check out the list of contributing artists below...
On Saturday, October 19th at 2pm Andrew Stortz, creator of the Books Closed Podcast will be holding a live panel titled "What Are We Preserving? What Are We Doing For Today?." The panel will feature the likes of Freddy Corbin, Deb Yarian, and Henry Lewis. You will not want to miss this!
The BATC is bringing back their charity raffle this year in support of Hanna Sandstrom in her fight against cancer. You will be able to buy a raffle ticket which will be available all convention weekend at the stencil booth. Raffle drawing will happen on Sunday (10/20) at 4pm. Juan Puente, Tim Hendricks, and Franco Vescovi have all donated tattoo machines and Horitomo has a signed Afterlife book he has added to the bunch. More items will be announced as they come in!
